TERMS & CONDITIONS – ACCURACY OF CONTENT

Whilst we have been careful to ensure that all information is as accurate and precise as possible, it is important to note the following:

• Dimensions and weights are approximate.
• Your monitor may show colours differently to the actual product and, although we can send fabric/vinyl/leather samples, these too may have a shade and texture variation to the delivered product.
• Your monitor may also show wood tones differently to the delivered product, but we do our best to ensure descriptions are as accurate as possible.
• Our leather products are made from natural leathers and are, therefore, not uniform in colour or texture. The finest hides often show natural marks and scars. Some leathers will mellow with age and exposure to natural and artificial light, as well as heat.
• With regard to feet/legs; some woods will mellow with age and exposure to natural and artificial light.
• Due to our policy of continuous product development, we reserve the right to amend the specification of products without prior notice in relation to future sales.
• To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sofa Smith disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on these websites.
• Sofa Smith shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.

TERMS & CONDITIONS – ORDERING AND PAYMENTS

• All prices include VAT at the prevailing UK rate.
• High value items may be paid for by two payments – please call our sales team for further information.
• The contract shall not be deemed as concluded until we have received full payment and the order confirmed by us via email or any other specified/agreed method.
• We are entitled to refuse any order placed by you.

TERMS & CONDITIONS – DELIVERY AND COLLECTION

• Some self-assembly may be required on certain products.
• It is the customers responsibility to ensure suitable and safe access.
• Any delivery charge does not allow for the removal of doors, windows, etc.
• We cannot be held liable for any damage caused on delivery to any of your property and/or possessions.

• Where insufficient notice is given regarding the change of any specified or agreed delivery date, additional delivery charges will be applicable.
• If access is unavailable at the time of delivery on the specified or agreed delivery date, additional delivery charges will be applicable.
• Weekend deliveries are also liable to an additional delivery charge.
• We will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss of profits, or any other financial loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable delay or delay due to unforeseen circumstances outside of the reasonable control of Sofa Smith or delay due to any reasonable rescheduling of delivery.
• Collection may be arranged from our Showroom, subject to sufficient notice – please call our sales team for further information.
• Any changes to your order may alter the anticipated delivery date.
